Stagemakers Theater brings new and old works to life with our dedicated theater team. We offer plenty of opportunities to participate in every aspect of theater on and off the stage.

PART 1: MEAN GIRLS Workshop
Join a Broadway Star of MEAN GIRLS, Taylor Louderman*, for a musical theatre workshop! Participants will learn a MEAN GIRLS song and dance combo with the Broadway actor who will also host a lively Q&A about their experience in Broadway’s newest smash hit!

The MEAN GIRLS Star will be signing autographs and taking pics with students, so bring your playbills!

Focus of Part 1:
• Learn original choreography and a song from MEAN GIRLS 
• Q&A with a MEAN GIRLS actor
• Autograph and Photos with a MEAN GIRLS actor

PART 2: Audition Tech with the MEAN GIRLS Actor:
Even if you don’t want to go pro, the Broadway actor will offer helpful feedback and coaching on mock auditions and will teach participants how to snag a coveted role in a school, community theatre or professional production!

Focus of Part 2:
• Mock Audition – Bring in a 16-bar cut of a musical theatre song and sing for a Broadway Star
• Receive feedback and coaching from the Broadway actor and our Music Director on your audition piece

Based on the popular comic strip and adapted from the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, with a beloved book and score by Tony Award-winners, Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, Annie JR. features everyone’s favorite little redhead in her very first adventure. With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone’s hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. Annie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie eventually foils Miss Hannigan’s evil machinations, finding a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.
