Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to be Jewish to come to your facility/programs?

We welcome people of all faiths, cultures, and backgrounds. Diversity is a strong part of our identity and represents who we are as a community. Though our programs are run on the foundation of Jewish values (kavod/respect, tikkun olam/healing the world, tzedakah/charity and giving back, gemilut hasadim/acts of loving kindness, and rahamanut/compassion) everyone is welcome to participate in our programs here at the J.

Do I have to be a member to participate in activities at the J?

You do not need to be a member to participate in the majority of JCC programs. However, as a JCC member, you receive exclusive benefits not available to the public. These include usage of the pool and fitness center, unlimited access to our basketball court, squash courts, health clubs with sauna and steam rooms, free weekly group exercise classes, free introduction to fitness center equipment with a personal trainer, as well as discounted JCC member pricing on programs such as camp, afterschool, fitness and rec, aquatics, special events and more.

For more information about membership contact Tracy Sussman, Director of Membership and Marketing, at 610-435-3571 or [email protected].

What types of programs do you offer at the J?

We have programming for all ages and interests starting with our Early Childhood Education Program (ECE) and day camp through Friendship Circle, a weekly social gathering for adults 50+. We also offer various aquatics, fitness and recreation programs such as swim lessons, personal training, wellness workshops, basketball leagues, squash lessons, and more. If you’re looking for programs for the whole family, we hold various special events throughout the year including our annual pancake breakfast, community Hanukkah celebration, Broadway bus trip, Dip N Disco pool party and more. We also have a multitude of programs for visual and performing arts lovers such as our Jewish & Israeli Film Series, Stagemakers Youth Theater, music and voice lessons, and more.

Can I see your facilities before I join?

Of course! We’d love for you to stop by and take a tour. To schedule a tour, please contact Tracy Sussman, Director of Membership and Marketing, at 610-435-3571 or [email protected].
