WHAT IS LIFE & LEGACY?

LIFE & LEGACY is a 4–year partnership program of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation (HGF) that assists communities across North America, through partnerships with Jewish Federations and Foundations, to promote after-lifetime giving to benefit local Jewish day schools, synagogues, social service organizations and other Jewish entities. Through training, support and monetary incentives LIFE & LEGACY motivates Jewish organizations to secure legacy gifts, steward donors and integrate legacy giving into the philanthropic culture of the Jewish community. 

WHAT IS A LEGACY GIFT?

A legacy gift is a way for generous and forward-thinking members of the community to express their passion, purpose, and commitment to valued Jewish organizations. These gifts, in the form of cash endowment gifts or an after-lifetime commitment, will ensure that Jewish life is vibrant in the Lehigh Valley community for future generations. 

WHO IS A PROSPECTIVE LEGACY GIFT DONOR?

Legacy giving is the most egalitarian form of giving. The Life & Legacy program makes it possible for everyone, no matter their current financial situation, to make a gift that is meaningful to them.
