YOUTH AND TEEN FITNESS PROGRAMS

Youth Strength, Speed & Agility Training (Powered by Morris Athletics in Partnership with the J)

  • 9/5 - 11/9 | No Class 9/10, 9/11, 9/18, 9/19, 9/24, 10/1
  • 5:00pm - 6:00pm (Tuesdays, Thursdays) (3rd - 6th Grades)
  • 5:00pm - 6:00pm (Mondays), 6:00pm - 7:00pm (Wednesdays) (7th - 12th Grades)

BFIT (Basketball Fitness Integrated Training) Clinic

  • Tuesdays, Thursdays, Sundays (3rd - 6th Grades)
  • Mondays, Wednesdays, Sundays (7th - 12th Grades)
  • 6:00pm - 7:00pm (Tuesdays and Thursdays) and 1:30pm - 2:30pm (Sundays) (for 3rd - 6th Grades)
  • 6:00pm - 7:00pm (Mondays) and 5:00pm - 6:00pm (Wednesdays) and 2:30pm - 3:30pm (Sundays) (for 7th - 12th Grades)
  • Price: 4 sessions for $80, 8 sessions for $130, 12 sessions for $160

Join Coach Bryon Morris and his Morris Athletics Staff with Coach T and the JHoops coaching staff as we develop and understand the correct fundamentals of basketball which will help to promote skill development, positive attitude and good sportsmanship through drills and games. Program offered in three separate packages. All sessions must be used by 11/9/18. Participants can attend any sessions for their age group.

Functional Training Classes
Come join us for our new Small Group Exercise classes held in the Functional Training Room, which incorporates a variety of exercises and routines all based upon functional movements. These classes must be purchased by the day. Limit to 4 participants per class. Register at the front desk.

Certified instructors Terrence Baker, Jenn Dietz, Lisa Ellenberger, Khary Linton, Daniel Knappenberger, Kinga Mikolajczyk, Gwen Sagula, Nolie Schneider, and Nance Witzel are here to help you reach your goals at the J. One-on-one or small group training will help you reach your goals and establish a coordinated plan for your overall wellness.

GROUP EXERCISE CLASSES

Here at the J we offer our members access to a variety of group exercise (GROUPx) classes including Cycling, Bars, HIIT, Yoga, Pilates, and more. Classes are offered 7 days a week to better fit your schedule and all classes are designed allow participants to work at their own pace. 

SILVER SNEAKERS

Silver Sneakers, the nation’s leading exercise program designed specifically for older adults. Come ride a bike, walk the treadmill, lift weights, strengthen muscles, and take a signature group exercise class all to maintain a healthier lifestyle. For an aquatic based program, try our Silver Splash class.

PERSONAL LOCKER RENTALS

The JCC of the Lehigh Valley is proud to now offer private locker rentals for our members. Instead of carrying your workout clothes back and forth to the gym, the JCC Fitness Department offers personal locker rentals, giving you one less thing to worry about. Members will receive a personal locker including a lock  and personalized name plate from the J. Rental lockers are available on a first come first served basis.
