Through on-your-feet exercises layered on top of your song or monologue you bring in, you will begin to learn how to use that physical body of yours with purpose, and how to use the space you are currently in as a magical playground full of possibility. With these guided explorations, you’ll walk away with a deeper understanding of your material and new ideas on how to make your rehearsal process way more fun and your storytelling more dynamic -- whether it’s for an audition, a video, a performance, or for your own amusement! Ideal for: students who love theatre and are ready to expand their limits, and who want more tools and techniques to pull from. If you’ve ever thought, “What do I do with my body?” or, “My character would never do that” - then this is for you! We’ll pull from Viewpoints and Laban techniques, amongst others. Be ready to get on your feet, get physical, totally experiment, and have some fun.

This workshop will also include a Q & A, so bring your questions and curiosities!

How Do I Prepare?:

  • Simply bring in a single Musical Theatre song or a Monologue that you know very well - 3 minutes or less. If you’re using a song - bring in a separate accompaniment track, if possible. ( is a great resource if you need it.) When choosing material, here are some directions you could go in: a piece you’ve done for a while that needs new life breathed into it, a piece you feel stuck with, a piece that you absolutely love, or a piece you’re curious about exploring!

  • Bring a notebook and pen!

  • Bring any questions, curiosities, or one thing you’d LOVE to ask a professional actor from the Lehigh Valley (truly, nothing is off limits or too crazy - ask away.)
  • Come ready to dive in!
