Spice up your fitness along with that pumpkin latte this fall! Fitness at the J has added some new programs to give your routine some life.
Tai Chi is a meditation that involves a series of slow flowing movements that build the body’s internal strength, longevity, suppleness, and stamina.
If you’re looking for something a little more intense than the relaxing Tai Chi class, Total Body Toning might be more your speed. Instructor Nolie has described this as a “boot camp style class” that combines circuits for different muscle groups using varied reps and intervals.
Are you more into dance style aerobic classes? There are two classes that will have you moving to the rhythm! Try Cize Live with Leslie on Friday mornings and learn a full routine. Zumba with Jonathan will keep you grooving on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Sundays.
Every week the JCC will also have an Instructor’s Choice class. A moderate level class will be offered that will change from week to week. This satisfies those who are looking to completely shake up their routine and maybe learn something new. It’s also a great way to meet our staff!
No matter what your current experience is in the exercise realm, you’ll find something to fit your needs at the J. You will see great results and instantly feel comfortable with the instructors.
