First J-AMP Graduation at the J

J-AMP (Jewish Aging Mastery Program) had his first every graduation at the JCC this fall, supported in part by donor contributions to adult program initiatives. After the twelve-week course, participants in the program were able to take key steps to improve their well-being, add stability to their lives, and strengthen their ties to communities. Barbara Hoffman, one of the first graduates of the program, took a lot from J-AMP. “Initially when I looked over the topics I thought, ‘oh well I know most of this stuff,’ but when I took the course and listened to the presenters each week, I always learned new things. Its really valuable information.” Planning for another fall session of J-AMP is underway. If you missed it the first time around, make sure to sign up for the second round!
