The JCC Team Competes at Maccabi Jr. in Delaware

Published Thursday, June 1, 2017

This year, the JCC of the Lehigh Valley was able to compete in the Mid-Atlantic Junior Games on Sunday, May 7 in Delaware. These games are modeled after the JCC Maccabi Games®, but geared towards athletes’ ages 10-12 years old. Held on one day only, the Olympic-style sporting and cultural event brings together young Jewish athletes to compete in various sports while making new friends, memories, and connections to the community.

Games included baseball, basketball, chess, four square, soccer, softball, swimming, and tennis.

Congratulations to all of the participants in our JCC Team. We’re so proud of all of our stars: Brandon Charon, Noah Cohen, Talia Cohen,  Avi Hochhauser, Josh Lindauer, Adam Lovenwirth, Josh Pulver, Ben Shimon, and Alex Spero.
