Qigong (pronounced “Chi Kung”) is an ancient Chinese health care system that integrates physical postures, breathing techniques and focused intention. The gentle, rhythmic movements of Qigong reduce stress, build stamina, increase vitality, and enhance the immune system.
If you’re looking for something a little more intense than the relaxing Qigong class, Total Body Toning might be more your speed. Instructor Gwen has described this as a “bootcamp style class” that combines circuits for different muscle groups using varied reps and intervals.
Are you a parent looking to fit in a workout around your child’s school schedule? Look no further than the new F.I.T program at 9:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Also, every week the JCC will also have an Instructor’s Choice class. A moderate level class will be offered that will change from week to week. This satisfies those who are looking to completely shake up their routine and maybe learn something new. It’s also a great way to meet our staff!
