From our personal wellness coaching program to our small group training classes, our specialty fitness programs are designed to personalize your wellness experience to meet your needs and goals.

YOUTH AND TEEN FITNESS PROGRAMS

Self-Defense with Steve (13 years and up)
Effectively train every part of your body and gain confidence. You will improve strength, cardiovascular fitness, speed, flexibility, coordination, and balance all while learning practical, realistic self-defense. This class is a combination of cardio, boxing, and MMA techniques similar to Krav Maga - the Israeli self-defense system. We encourage you to bring a partner/friend.
Session 3: Mondays (3/6 - 3/27)

Youth Strength & Conditioning Training (11 - 16 Years)
Whether you’re starting your path towards life-long wellness or trying to maintain or gain that competitive edge, there is no better time than adolescence to begin a good strength and conditioning program. It’s during these years when most athletes and health-minded individuals decide to pick up the dumbbells for the first time. Beginning a safe and effective program is the first step towards athletic success and a well-balanced healthy lifestyle.
Session 1: Thursdays (2/23 - 3/30)

FIT U Premium Classes (13 Years and Up)
Get ready for inspiring training programs. Fit U premium classes are perfect for people who want customized workouts in a small group setting of ten or fewer people. Classes may included wellness based programs, functional fitness and strength, and yoga workshops.

Fitness Safety Orientation Program 
Children ages 10-12 must be on a family membership and may use the gym alone for cardio only if they complete the orientation sessions with a trainer. The orientation is free and teaches them how to use the cardio equipment safely. Teens ages 13-17 may be on a family membership or purchase an individual student membership. They have full access to the fitness facility and group exercise classes if they complete the orientation sessions with a trainer. The orientation is free and teaches them how to use the cardio and weight training equipment safely.

ADULT FITNESS PROGRAMS

Hot Yoga
A heated yoga flow combining strength, endurance, balance, and flexibility. This class will be held on the pool deck which is heated to about 90 degrees. Come flow through a fun, invigorating, sequence to uplifting music while sweating out all those toxins in your body and burning more calories.

Would you like to have a personalized workout routine designed specifically for you, but don't need the face-to-face time with a personal trainer? Then we have the program for you. Get a personalized wellness coaching program designed with your fitness goals and lifestyle in mind which will be updated every month to reflect your progress.

GROUP EXERCISE CLASSES

Here at the J we offer our members access to a variety of group exercise (GROUPx) classes including Cycling, Bars, HIIT, Yoga, Pilates, and more. Classes are offered 7 days a week to better fit your schedule and all classes are designed allow participants to work at their own pace. Non-members can purchase class passes at the Welcome Desk if they would like to sample that day's class.

SILVER SNEAKERS

Silver Sneakers, the nation’s leading exercise program designed specifically for older adults. Come ride a bike, walk the treadmill, lift weights, strengthen muscles, and take a signature group exercise class all to maintain a healthier lifestyle. For an aquatic based program, try our Silver Splash class.

PERSONAL LOCKER RENTALS

The JCC of the Lehigh Valley is proud to now offer private locker rentals for our members. Instead of carrying your workout clothes back and forth to the gym, the JCC Fitness Department offers personal locker rentals, giving you one less thing to worry about. Members will receive a personal locker including a lock  and personalized name plate from the J. Rental lockers are available on a first come first served basis.
